The Bold Italic Presents The Haberdash
San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood has a reputation for many different things, but a large gathering of well-dressed men and women isn’t normally one of them. But this past Tuesday, a large group of fashionable individuals showed up to attend The Bold Italic’s 3rd Annual Haberdash Event.
The Haberdash is an event that celebrates San Francisco’s men’s fashion, style, and music. This year, the event was once again held at the historic Great American Music Hall and featured an e-cigarette lounge, grooming station, and photo booth. With San Francisco’s own Broke-Ass Stuart as the Master of Ceremonies, the event began with a fashion show that featured models wearing outfits from many notable local designers and boutiques. Afterwards, Brooklyn’s folk-rock band Woods and husband and wife DJ duo Peaking Lights took to the stage to perform.
I want to thank The Bold Italic for inviting me to this fantastic event. It was great to see so many different fashion styles from tailored clothes to streetwear and I was happy to hear that some of the proceeds from the evening will be going to Project Open Hand, which is a nonprofit that helps provide meals to those in need. Also, special thanks to Chelsea for taking some of the photos you see here.
